How I work

Let’s chat

— I always start with a conversation about what you are trying to achieve. Whether it’s highly stylised shots for your menu, capturing the process of making food, or if it’s a mix of everything to power your social media content.

Planning & preparation

— Planning the shoot into stages allows us to work out the props, colours, staging and styling required to bring your shots to life. Also, getting an idea of a running order for the shoot in addition to knowing where we’re shooting also make the day go a lot easier.

03.
It’s shoot day!

— The shoot always comprises of the ‘setup’ - this includes setting up flashes, backdrops, reflectors. This typically takes about 20mins. Then we reference our plan and get rolling with the food photoshoot.

04.
Your photos

— Once the shoot is over, you will be sent an online secure link to view the proofs from the shoot for selecting your shots. These will then be edited for colour balance, minor blemishes, removal of small artefacts (stray herbs / scratches etc). We keep all editing light and natural.
