Sports photography for Caerphilly Rugby Club
Sports photography commission for Caerphilly Rugby Club aka ‘The Castlemen’.
The team was looking for some dynamic imagery for their 2018/19 season. The sports portraits were to be used extensively on social media, their website and within the clubhouse.
We planned a suite of dynamic portrait imagery which consisted of sets of individuals in addition to creating group shots of different players. One of the key things to getting these shots right is the consistency with the lighting - this makes things in post-production so much easier and with better results.
The shoot took place down at the Caerphilly Rugby ground where we set up studio by the club bar.
